Employee Spotlight: Jim

Allow us to introduce Jim, our gifted and delightful Director of Human Resources. Read on to learn more about Jim and one crucial item on his bucket list!

What drew you to Master Services? How has the company changed since you started?

My mom actually saw a Facebook post about Master Services needing an Accounting Manager.  I had heard of Master Dry and Master Services, so I knew a little bit about the company. When I looked a little further online into the employee experience, I was really blown away by the great reviews.  I found great reviews from employees and customers, and I just felt like I wanted to be a part of that.

The company has changed a lot since I started here.  We have gone from one company with around 150 employees to 5 separate companies (Master Services, Carolina Basement Systems, Basement Systems of Indiana, Mid-State Basements Systems, and Klaus Roofing of Ohio) with over 300 employees.  We are stronger and better than ever!

What is your proudest moment at the company so far?

One of my proudest moments was last year when I participated in Power Soccer.  Watching the joy that the kids and adults had because the Master Services team was out on the court playing Power Soccer with them, made me proud to be part of this team.  

What’s on your bucket list?

On my short bucket list, returning to Mt. LeConte next year.  I've been up once, but want to return.
