In Chattanooga, TN, a homeowner contacted us for assistance in waterproofing their garage due to persistent water infiltration, especially after heavy rainfall. Following an inspection by our home inspector, we recommended the installation of a water collection and redirection system. Specifically, we chose to install our WaterGuard drainage system, designed to efficiently collect and divert water away from the area. Notably, WaterGuard is distinct from traditional drain tile systems, as it's installed just beneath the perimeter edge of the basement floor, providing effective water management.
To ensure comprehensive protection, we also introduced the TripleSafe sump pump, equipped with three layers of defense against potential water-related issues. It's worth mentioning that our client opted to include a backup battery pack, which ensures continued pump operation even during electrical blackouts.
