In Erwin, TN, a homeowner reached out to us about ongoing water infiltration in their basement, resulting in persistent halo stains and mud puddles on the floor. Given that the homeowner used the space as an additional bedroom, our team prioritized protecting the walls and floor. After conducting a thorough assessment, we proposed installing a system to collect and divert water away from the basement, focusing on the staircase area.
For this purpose, we selected the WaterGuard drainage system, known for its efficient water collection and diversion capabilities. To accommodate this system, our crew made adjustments by removing part of the cement stair steps. Additionally, we installed the TripleSafe sump pump, providing three layers of defense against potential water issues.
With these solutions now implemented, the homeowner's basement is safeguarded from water-related concerns and potential mold growth.
