The project included removing old insulation and debris, sealing the crawl space floors and piers with a durable CleanSpace® vapor barrier, installing interior drainage and SuperSump Plus sump pump systems with exterior discharge lines to manage groundwater, and adding a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to maintain consistent humidity levels year-round. With the crawl space sealed and protected, the home is now better safeguarded against moisture intrusion, mold risk, and long-term structural deterioration, providing this Signal Mountain homeowner with improved air quality and lasting peace of mind.
The Master Services team recently visited a residence in Monterey, TN to address settlement issues that had affected a large garage floor. Factors like soil erosion and temperature changes can cause concrete to sink and shift, leading to cracks. To tackle this problem, we employed the PolyLyft injection method, which expands and lifts the concrete, providing stability to the entire surface. The Master Services installation team successfully addressed a bowed foundation wall problem in Monterey, TN, utilizing Wall Plate Anchors. Cracks had emerged on the wall due to prolonged exposure to excessive moisture from hydrostatic pressure caused by the nearby terrain. The application of Wall Plate Anchors effectively stabilized the wall by securely connecting it to the stable soil in its vicinity, offering essential reinforcement to the entire structure of the house. This procedure was executed with efficiency, resulting in minimal disturbance to both the interior and exterior of the property.
