An apartment complex in Heiskell, TN received concerns from tenants about tripping hazards around the complex. Due to poor weather and soil erosion, parts of the sidewalk started to sink, causing one side to be higher than the other. Not only is this a tripping hazard, it is also a blemish on the look of the complex.
In an effort to better the sidewalks, the apartment complex called Master Services to lift the sidewalk.
Master Services used PolyLyft to lift the sidewalk to even levels. Not only does the PolyLyft lift, though, it also reinforces, so the apartment complex will no longer need to worry about poor weather conditions or soil erosion.
Tenants are happy and the tripping hazards are no longer a problem!
This sidewalk in Heiskell, TN was cracking and sinking, which could eventually create a serious tripping hazard. Our team drilled holes at specific areas along the sidewalk, then injected them with our incredible, high-density PolyLyft. This product works by filling voids and holes beneath the slab, effectively raising it to its original position.
Sarah, a homeowner in Heiskell, TN, contacted Master Services after her front porch started sinking, making it difficult to enter her home safely. Our home inspector identified the issue as soil settling and recommended PolyLyft to lift and stabilize the porch. Master Services recently completed a project in Louisville, TN, with the aim of safeguarding against water damage, mold growth, decay, odors, and pests by encapsulating the crawlspace. The area had a previous plastic sheet used as insulation, but due to its low quality, the plastic was torn in multiple places, allowing water to collect on its surface.
To address these issues, we installed the reliable CleanSpace® Wall system, securely attaching it to the basement walls using carefully drilled plastic fasteners for maximum stability. The result is an area that can now be utilized as additional clean storage space, providing added functionality for the homeowner.
