Master Services recently visited a homeowner in Erwin, TN, to address issues with water intrusion in their basement. The basement, primarily used for storage, had been experiencing problems with hydrostatic pressure in the past. For this reason, the homeowner had us install a few Carbon Fiber Armor Strips to keep the walls in check and prevent future structural issues. However, water continued to seep through, creating mold and spore proliferation. After an initial phone call, our home inspector identified that the efflorescence on the walls was due to this water intrusion. To combat the issue, we recommended our WaterGuard® Perimeter Drainage System combined with the TripleSafe Sump Pump. We also installed CleanSpace Wall Vapor Barrier on the walls to safeguard against further water damage. With all these solutions in place, we were able to transform the entire atmosphere of the area.
