Before & After
Before the work began, this Chattanooga home had a crawl space with exposed soil, residual debris, and limited moisture protection, allowing ground vapor and humid air to accumulate beneath the home. These conditions can lead to elevated humidity levels, condensation on framing components, and increased risk of mold growth, wood deterioration, and compromised indoor air quality. To correct these issues, Master Foundation & Crawl Space Repair removed existing debris and installed a heavy-duty CleanSpace vapor barrier across the crawl space floor and up the concrete block foundation walls, creating a continuous sealed liner designed to block ground moisture and reduce vapor intrusion. To actively control humidity and maintain a stable crawl space environment, our team installed two SaniDry Sedona dehumidifiers, each with a condensate pump to ensure reliable moisture removal and proper drainage. After installation, the crawl space is fully encapsulated and conditioned, helping regulate humidity levels, protect structural components, and support healthier air throughout the home for long-term performance and durability.
