Stabilizing Sagging Floors in Rogersville, TN
Challenge
A homeowner in Rogersville, Tennessee contacted Master Services after noticing her floor sagging and uneveness throughout parts of her home. Upon inspection, our team discovered that the existing floor support system under the home was not adequate for the home's layout anymore. Additionally, limited access and existing plywood beaneath the joists posed minor installation obstacles.
Solution
To address the issue and prevent any further structural damage, Master Services recommended the installation of our SmartJack support system. Our crew installed five SmartJacks along the main beam of the home to lift and stabilize the central floor structure. To reinforce a weaker area near the front left section, we also installed two supplemental jacks. In some areas, our team carefully removed plywood beneath the joists to allow for proper beam placement. A laser level was used to ensure exact alignment and precision across all installed jacks.
The completed SmarkJack system successfully lifted and stabilized the floors, restoring both structural integrity and homeowner peace of mind. The solution also preemptively protected the home from future sagging or floor bounce.
