Challenge
The porch had visible cracking and separation, showing signs of sinking due to unstable soil beneath. The homeowner was concerned that the continued settlement could damage the structure, create tripping hazards, and hurt the home’s curb appeal.
Solution
Our team installed five 3" Helical Piers with standard brackets to provide deep foundational support. This ensured the porch was stabilized against further settlement. Additionally, we used PolyLYFT™ foam injection to elevate and re-level an 84-square-foot slab section, filling voids and creating a solid base. Minor concrete removal and replacement was completed to access installation points and restore the finished look.
The residence now has a stable and level porch, permanently reinforced with helical piers. PolyLYFT™ lifted and supported the slab, closing cracks and restoring alignment with the home. The homeowner can now enjoy a safe, secure entryway with lasting protection against settlement.
