This Philadelphia, Tennessee home was experiencing structural instability and elevated moisture levels beneath the living space, creating concerns for long-term durability and indoor comfort. Portions of the floor system were no longer supported, allowing sagging and movement to develop over time, while excess humidity in the basement and crawl space areas increased the risk of deterioration and poor air quality. Master Foundation & Crawl Space Repair addressed these issues by stabilizing the structure and improving moisture control beneath the home. The project included the installation of SmartJack® support posts with steel supplemental beams and sistered floor joists to permanently reinforce the weakened framing and restore proper load support. To further reduce moisture, a SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier with a condensate pump was installed, and crawl space vents were sealed to help limit outside air intrusion. After completion, the floor system was properly stabilized, structural support was restored, and the space beneath the home was drier and better regulated, helping protect the foundation and improve the overall performance of the home.
