Master Services recently tackled a cracking concrete driveway issue in Andersonville, TN. Our home inspector determined that the cracks were due to concrete hardening, which is common, especially in the summer when high temperatures affect the cement. To fix this, we recommended using PolyLift to raise and stabilize the driveway.

PolyLift is an advanced solution designed to lift and level sunken concrete slabs. The process involves injecting an expanding foam beneath the affected area, gently raising the slab back to its original position. This method is both cost-effective and long-lasting compared to traditional concrete replacement. 

After drilling at strategic points, our skilled crew injected the PolyLift and successfully raised the driveway. The result is a stable, smooth surface that will last for years to come.

This Andersonville, Tennessee homeowner was dealing with a ton of moisture in his basement. This threatened their air quality, the condition of their foundation, and created just an overall musty environment. To resolve this issue, our team installed a SuperSump sump pump system, designed to efficiently collect and discharge water from the basement. We also installed CleanSpace, a durable vapor barrier that lines the walls to prevent moisture from passing through the block walls into the home. For added protection, we included an IceGuard discharge line attachment, which allows water to escape even if the exterior line freezes, ensuring the system continues working in freezing temperatures. In the before picture, you can see heavy efflorescence (white powdery staining) on the block walls and visible signs of past moisture. This made the basement a concern for the homeowner. With no vapor barrier in place and poor drainage, this home was vulnerable to numerous water-related damages. The finished product, shown in the second photo, features a clean, sealed basement environment with CleanSpace lining the walls, wires safely mounted, and a powerful SuperSump system ready to handle water buildup. This space is now dry, protected, and much more usable year-round.

An apartment complex in Heiskell, TN received concerns from tenants about tripping hazards around the complex. Due to poor weather and soil erosion, parts of the sidewalk started to sink, causing one side to be higher than the other. Not only is this a tripping hazard, it is also a blemish on the look of the complex. 

In an effort to better the sidewalks, the apartment complex called Master Services to lift the sidewalk. 

Master Services used PolyLyft to lift the sidewalk to even levels. Not only does the PolyLyft lift, though, it also reinforces, so the apartment complex will no longer need to worry about poor weather conditions or soil erosion.
