Our team at Master Services recently completed a crawlspace encapsulation in Kingsport, TN to safeguard against water damage, mold growth, decay, unpleasant odors, and pest infestations. We chose to use the reliable CleanSpace® Wall system, which is securely fastened to the basement walls with plastic fasteners that are carefully drilled in for maximum stability. Additionally, our home inspectors recommended the Sedona dehumidifier to effectively regulate moisture levels and prevent mold growth. These two systems work together to create an optimal environment in the crawlspace, ensuring moisture and mold are kept under control.
This crawlspace in Kingsport, TN had a common problem: its supportive beams and floor joists were sagging. The damage would only continue and grow more extensive without remediation, so our team installed our dependable and hardy SmartJacks system. A durable CleanSpace® vapor barrier was then installed to completely seal the crawl space floor and walls, while SilverGlo® insulation was added to improve energy efficiency. The team also installed two SuperSump® Plus pump systems along with a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier and condensate pump to control humidity year-round.
These improvements turned the crawl space from damp and unprotected to clean, dry, and efficient. To ensure the home stays healthier and better protected from future moisture and mold concerns.
