Our team traveled to Kingsport, TN, to address a home settlement issue. During inspection, our home inspector noted vertical cracks in the crawlspace wall. Due to shifting soils and moisture problems, homes frequently settle, resulting in issues like cracks and stuck doors and windows, as observed in this case. This settlement compromises both the stability and market value of the home. To prevent further damage, our team installed Push piers. These devices utilize their design to secure stable soil beneath the house, offering immediate support and often restoring the house to its original height. Despite the confined space (between 4-5 feet), our skilled crew successfully completed the task.
This Kingsport, TN home had a crawl space that was damp, musty, and poorly protected from outside moisture. The team also installed two SuperSump® Plus pump systems along with a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier and condensate pump to control humidity year-round.
These improvements turned the crawl space from damp and unprotected to clean, dry, and efficient. To ensure the home stays healthier and better protected from future moisture and mold concerns.
