A homeowner in Cleveland, TN, noticed damage beneath her front porch step, especially after heavy rainfall. Stones collapsed into a shallow sinkhole, exposing part of the foundation footing. Concerned about potential disruption to the upper levels of the house, such as window frames, she promptly sought help. Our team inspected the structure and identified the area needing additional support. We then utilized our push pier system, ideal for narrow digging areas like this one. After securely installing it into the dry and stable clay soil beneath the sinkhole, we anchored it with a steel bracket to the cement footing of the house. Once the hole was backfilled, no visible damage remained, leaving a reinforced structure.
