A homeowner in Knoxville, TN contacted us seeking help with waterproofing their basement to halt the ongoing mold growth on the walls. Visible signs of mold were already evident at the base of the staircase and around the floor's perimeter. Following a comprehensive assessment, we proposed the implementation of a water collection and redirection system. Our perimeter water guard drainage system excels at efficiently collecting and diverting water away from the basement, effectively controlling water infiltration. Our team transformed the crawl space with a full CleanSpace® encapsulation system covering 1,130 square feet, ensuring a clean, sealed barrier against moisture. We removed old insulation and debris, then installed SilverGlo® insulation and rim joist insulation to improve energy efficiency. To keep humidity under control, we added a SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier paired with a condensate pump. The space was further protected with sealed vents, wrapped piers, and an EverLast™ crawl space door, completing the encapsulation and providing long-term protection.

This stucco wall in Knoxville, TN cracked due to foundation failure, resulting in "stair step cracks." To repair it, Master Services installed Helical Piers to stabilize the foundation. To do this, the team screwed steel piers deep into the soil below the home. The piers are strategically placed around the home and in the earth with a steel foundation bracket which connects the piers to the home's footing. These piers and brackets will hold the weight of the home securely due to the more resilient soil or bedrock deeper in the ground. While it can be difficult to close the cracks perfectly in a case like this, the team was able to restore this wall easily and cleanly. 

This home’s front walkway had shifted and settled over time, creating uneven sections that posed a tripping hazard and affected curb appeal. Our crew used a polyurethane foam injection system to lift and stabilize the concrete, restoring both safety and appearance.
